Present

I have the incredible opportunity to moderate for Daniel Chabot, a gaming content creator known as Dannydinosaur. Being part of this vibrant community has strengthened my understanding of digital engagement and the role UX/UI design plays in creating seamless, enjoyable experiences. I’ve helped streamline moderator onboarding, enhance viewer interactions, and manage a growing Discord community—fostering a welcoming space while ensuring smooth navigation and accessibility for all users.

What drives me most in UX design is the satisfaction of helping people. I love creating experiences that not only look good but also make life easier by anticipating users’ needs and removing frustrations. Alongside moderating, I’m expanding my skills by collaborating with other designers on mobile app projects, creating design templates, and exploring tools that improve teamwork and workflow. I’m also diving deeper into HTML, CSS, AI, and agile leadership through Tech Fleet. Every project fuels my passion for crafting intuitive, visually compelling experiences that bring people together and enhance everyday interactions.

Why Design?

Design is my authentic expression of strength and passion, an art that resonates deeply with the heart. Fueled by an unwavering commitment to seamless product discovery, I go beyond aesthetics, creating experiences that simplify and resonate on a meaningful level. Immersed in user engagement, I understand needs beyond the surface and use critical thinking to craft designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally efficient.

Grounded in the practicalities of the business world, I bring business acumen to ensure designs align with broader strategic goals. In essence, my design journey blends resilience, passion, and a dedication to crafting experiences that connect with the heart, leaving a lasting imprint on the user's journey.

This is why I design – to infuse products with purpose, elevate the ordinary, and contribute to a world where design genuinely enriches lives.

Self Care

Nature Walks

On my days off, I genuinely love taking casual walks with my husband and our dogs. The parks around Austin,Tx are just beautiful, and it's become our thing to explore them together. It's not some grand adventure, but it's real and relaxing—just me, my husband, and our fur babies. Honestly, those moments of self-care, just soaking in the simplicity, are what I treasure the most.

Baking

I genuinely love baking, especially during the bustling holiday season. The best part for me? Seeing the smiles on the faces of those around me when they get a surprise treat during the holidays. It's those simple moments of making others happy that truly warm my heart.

Quilting

Within the last two years I learned how to quilt, mostly self taught. I love working with selecting colors, styles, and shapes. Planning it out is key and color coordinating is vital for the visual affects that are created. Much like UI design!

Paper Crafting

Paper crafting is my ultimate creative passion. Coordinating colors, weaving pieces, and shaping something from nothing is incredibly rewarding. It's not just a relaxing hobby; it's a therapeutic escape that eases tension by pulling the mind in a different, more beautiful direction

Jewelry Making

This is another favorite past time I enjoy emerging myself in. I love researching ideas, planning out, and sketching what I want my end product to look like. Piecing everything together and bringing my vision to fruition is the absolute best feeling. I liken this to UI design.

Gaming

I've recently rediscovered my love for gaming, thanks to The Legend of Zelda series, especially Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. Engaging with the gaming community, I'm currently moderating for a popular content creator who streams “The Legend of Zelda” franchise games. This experience has not only rekindled my passion for gaming but also sparked new insights into UX/UI design, observing how technology seamlessly blends with user experience in the gaming world. Excited to explore these intersections further.
